About

Plain guides, written by people who use the tools.

AI Productivity Guides started from a simple frustration: most writing about AI tools is either a press release with the serial numbers filed off, or a wall of generic advice that could have been written about anything. Neither helps when you're sitting in front of the app trying to get a real task done.

So our rule is narrow and boring on purpose. Every guide takes one concrete task — set up a tool, automate a report, fix an error message — and walks it through from the first click to the finished result. We use the products ourselves before we write about them, and when something doesn't work yet, we say so.

How we cover Claude Cowork

A lot of what we publish right now is about Claude Cowork, Anthropic's desktop tool for automating file and task work. It's new, it's moving fast, and the official documentation assumes you already know your way around. We translate.

We're independent and not affiliated with Anthropic. Where we link to products, we may earn a commission, but it never changes which tools we recommend or what we say about them.

Have a request? If there's a task you wish someone would just show you end to end, that's exactly the kind of guide we want to write.
